In 2017, HTSGLA past president, Stacey Cook, provided a donation in the amount of $10,000, $1000 per student per year, to current students who are enrolled in West Coast University Occupational Therapy program over a 10 year period.

This scholarship is awarded to an Occupation Therapy student who show and demonstrate a strong interest in the field of Hand Therapy. Applicants are required to submit an essay expressing why they want to pursue a career path in the field of hand therapy. The essay will be graded on a rubric. The top scorer will be awarded the funds.

If for any reason there is a tie in the grading; an interview component will be added and scored.
