Managing Acute Hand Injuries: Improving Long Term Outcomes with Early Intervention (hybrid online CE course)—with hands-on Independent Splinting Labs and a Virtual Classroom session

For beginner to intermediate level clinicians– working in acute care or out-patient settings!


7.5 contact hours. 


Hybrid online format features video-recorded lectures and step-by-step demonstrations of pattern making and fabrication of 3 commonly used UE orthoses plus access to the instructor throughout the course. Complete independent fabrication assignments, case studies, and quizzes prior to a one-hour interactive Virtual Classroom meeting with instructor and other class participants (via Zoom). Zoom Interactive classroom focuses on review of case studies, review of fabricated orthoses, and a Q & A session. A list of recommended supplies is provided.
